i appreciate the fact you think that i'm good enough to get
advice from in that regard.
i started drawing "seriously" at the age of 15, and have just
been doing it ever since.
one thing that's definitely helpful towards rapid improvement
is to have in mind a specific image
or project you want to do, and learn what you need to do to make
it happen. this is the fastest way
i've found to picking up the necessary skills you need to be "good",
and it really applies to any
skill in general.
additionally, don't limit yourself --
another great way to get really good at art is to pick up other
hobbies and draw inspiration from things outside of the thing
you're trying to draw.
at the end of the day, the biggest thing i can say
is it really does boil down to just doing it a lot.
below are a list of resources i have referenced a lot throughout the years.
the advice is solid and have really helped me to develop my style.
shoot me an ask!
if i like it, i'll draw it up. no promises it'll get done though.
best kinds of requests:
short, sweet, to the point
related to a topic, character,
or subject i've shown to be interested in
isn't just a commission request :^]
ARE COMMISSIONS OPEN?
my commissions are currently closed.
CAN I USE YOUR CHARACTER FOR...?
you can use my characters for anything you want to.
my only request is you let me see what you've done. B)
CAN I REPOST / EDIT YOUR WORK?
yes.
my only caveat is that if it's currently early access,
please don't repost it until it's been made public. people are paying
for that, so it's unfair to them to just leak it, with that in mind.
